CCTV Systems

Closed-Circuit Television

Closed-circuit television (CCTV), also known as video surveillance, is the use of video cameras to transmit a signal to a specific place, on a limited set of monitors. It differs from broadcast television in that the signal is not openly transmitted, though it may employ point to point (P2P), point to multipoint (P2MP), or mesh wireless links. Though almost all video cameras fit this definition, the term is most often applied to those used for surveillance in areas that may need monitoring such as banks, casinos, airports, military installations, and convenience stores. These days they are installed within a residential premises for additional security. CCTV solutions are today generally classified into two groups:

1. Analogous CCTV These type of CCTV system is more useful for residential purposes, small establishment. HD cameras and recording is today possible on analogous medium, giving clients an opportunity to have high resolution of video viewing and storage.

Brands we offer: Hikvision, Panasonic, CBC Ganz.

2. IP CCTV This system is more useful for larger establishment, in bigger areas, where scalability and cabling complexity can be substantially reduced. IP systems can have redundancy servers, video monitoring servers, wherein, it becomes possible to use additional analytical softwares to draw automated data from the videos as simultaneous and continuous monitoring in sensitive area becomes very difficult.

Brands on Offer: Hikvision Panasonic CBC Ganz Bosch Axis

Dome Cameras

Varifocal & Fixed Lens

Typically used for indoor applications, these cameras have wider angles and better depth-of-view. With varifocal cameras, one may adjust the lenses as per the scene.

IR Dome cameras

Varifocal & Fixed Lens

Typically used for indoor applications, these cameras have wider angles and better depth-of-view but with infrared light on when the light luminance goes below a threshold. With varifocal cameras, one may adjust the lenses as per the scene. At night grey-scale images are generated with basic IR cameras.

Pan-Tilt-Zoom Type dome cameras

IR & Non-IR Cameras

Used for large indoor areas like warehouse application or outdoor areas. These cameras do operations like panning, tilting and zooming on particular objects/ scenes.

IR Bullet Cameras

Fixed Lens & Varifocal cameras

IR Bullet cameras are used in low light scenarios typically where the distance to be covered is less. Comes in fixed and varifocal lenses, selection of the cameras can be made easier by professionals.

Box Type Cameras

Additional lenses needed

These are sophisticated cameras used for typically outdoor application or indoor scenarios where there is variable lighting or long distances to be covered.

Digital Video Recorders

4,8,16,32 channel

These are recorders used over co-axial medium, i.e. for analogous type of cameras. There is variety for selection when it comes to number of channels a DVR can record and play as well as the memory it will support. Expert advice before selection is recommended.

Network Video Recorder

4,8,16,32,64,128,256 channel

Network Video Recorders are used to record videos from IP cameras. They come in different channel configurations and some of the state-of the-art recorders are available with artificial intelligence features embedded on it.

Recording & Streaming servers

Ideally for camera set up over 64 cameras

Typically in a large scenario where number of cameras exceed a manageable limit, servers are introduced in a sophisticated network to stream and record images on it. In case of an enquiry, let us discuss this solution in detail.
